The new VW ID 2X will become an inexpensive crossover of modern architecture. The car as a whole is still kept secret, but something is already known about it. The electric model is prepared for the premiere.

The Volkswagen 2X crossover will join the next electric line of the manufacturer, for which new components have prepared. Autocar showed the option of the appearance of the upcoming available electric car.

The cheapest VW electric crossover is technically a variation of the Volkswagen ID2 compact electric car, which is prepared as a VW Polo replacement. This will turn out a small car with a length of about 4.2 m, a wheelbase of 2600 mm, about 1.8 m wide and 1.5 m high.

Estimated power of the electric power plant - 220 liters. Stroke after complete charging - about 450 km. It is expected that the new Volkswagen will go on sale in 2026 or 2027. Price - in the range of 25,000 - 30,000 euros.

The new crossover will enter the market as an alternative to T-CROSS.
