Volkswagen promised to start developing a new budget model with an attractive price of 20,000 euros. The manufacturer showed his cheapest electric car in the first photo before the official premiere.

The car is positioned as an affordable, high -quality and profitable electric car. The name is still kept secret, but, according to Motor1, the novelty can be called VW ID. The photo showed the conceptual defender, his name is Volkswagen ID. EVERY1.

The first photo does not reveal the design of the VW model completely, but clearly hints at the references to the appearance of Volkswagen Golf 1 generation. The expected body length is about 4 m.

The MeB Small platform will be based on (from Volkswagen ID. 2) for the smallest electric carriers with front -wheel drive. Technical details have not yet been told.

The premiere of the concept will take place in March 2025. The car should go to serial production by 2027.
