Startup Rictor from the USA presented the original project Skyrider X1. The vehicle combines the features of a motorcycle, helicopter and amphibian. Details of the original new product were revealed on the Rictor website.
New Rictor Skyrider X1 – electric motorcycle with a closed body. This is a single-seat two-wheeled capsule with a large glass area and retractable wheels-footrests.
To control the Rictor Skyrider X1, a multifunctional joystick was installed in the cabin. Also has a large touch display. Load capacity is 100 kg.
On land, the Rictor Skyrider X1 can travel at speeds of up to 70 km/h. It is also able to overcome water obstacles, because the body is sealed.
The Rictor Skyrider X1 has folding propellers on the roof - it quickly turns into a large quadcopter. Flight speed - up to 100 km/h.
The Rictor Skyrider X1 electric bike is equipped with an autopilot that controls vertical takeoff and landing, and is also capable of independently adjusting the flight altitude, depending on weather conditions and terrain features.
The flying motorcycle will be offered in two versions - with a 10.5 and 21 kWh battery. In the first case, Skyrider X1 will be able to travel 100 km and stay in the air for up to 25 minutes; in the second, these figures are 180 km and 40 minutes, respectively..
