Prices for used cars vary significantly in different regions of Ukraine. The Institute for Automotive Research has determined which areas have the most expensive and cheapest used cars..

Experts analyzed advertisements for the sale of used cars in different regions of Ukraine and compared prices. They found that in January the average price of used cars on the market was $6,300. It has grown somewhat recently, because not so long ago it was $5,500.

The most expensive used cars in the capital region (Kyiv and Kyiv region) - their average cost is $8,400. Also high prices in Lviv ($7999) and Volyn ($7000) regions.

The cheapest used cars are in the Kherson ($2,900) and Donetsk ($3,000) regions.

Thus there is a trend. The highest prices for used cars are in economically active regions and areas close to the western borders, through which cars are imported into Ukraine. The lowest cost of a used car is in regions close to the combat zone.
